"Weep with those who weep." (Rom. 12.15)

Last Friday 24th January, it was with great sadness that the Parish Community of Saggart, Rathcoole, Brittas and Newcastle learned of the sudden deaths of Conor (9), Darragh (7), and Carla (3) McGinley, Parsons Court, Newcastle. Both Conor and Darragh were students in Scoil Chrónáin, Rathcoole, and Carla attended the Happy Feet Crèche, Rathcoole.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both the McGinley and Morley families and their friends at this time.

The Parish Team are available to offer support and comfort to the family and members of the community over the coming days. A book of condolences is available in St Finian’s Church, Newcastle.

"Now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face." (1 Cor. 13.12)

New Decade, New Road. Dia linn!

                                        Dia Linn

May God be with us as we venture down the road of a new decade.

May we be healthy in body and mind.

May we grow intellectually and spiritually.

And may we keep on trying, in every way, to be the cheerful giver that God loves (2 Cor. 9.7).
