A Sample of Parish Partnership Names
This heading is taken from a recent Knocklyon Parish newsletter. We can see how a total of six parishes (i.e. quite a proposition) were faced with the challenge of agreeing a common Partnership name. And we can see how, finally, they came up with one and, we can guess, quite easily too. St Enda's was a fairly obvious choice, being a well know, much frequented park with many rich associations, e.g. the Patrick Pearse museum created out of the school he set up there. A brief survey of some other Dublin parishes looking at how they arrived at a partnership name -- or are, like us, working on it -- is here. So thinking (and praying) caps on now, please!
